Camera Craze!

Been aiming for a Golden Half or Holga cameras for a LONG time!!! If it's not bcoz of the waterproof function... i wouldn't have bought this LOMO AquaPix...

But it's cheap anyway... I got it from Ebay for only RM40+ including international postage. Which is a good deal coz I see lotsa ppl here selling for about RM60+ to RM100+ excluding postage..

I've found the cameras I wanted from The*Click*Shop. They sell all kinda original toy cameras, from film to digital...all with special effects.Price are very reasonable as well.

I'm thinking of getting Golden Half from Superheadz... a very unique camera which is a blast from the past.. It can double your shots with the Half Frame camera. Simple mathematics show that with a standard 36 exposure roll of film, you will have 72 opportunities to make pure magic. And the best thing is this Golden Half camera has variable aperture setting! Awesome!

My dad used to have half frame camera... a real antique! But too bad my dad gave it to my bro... Argh... I must ask him to bring it back on his nx visit!!! It's still functional!

Also in my wishlist is the master of the shadowy vignette, Holga (also dubbed as the King of Toy Cameras). Too bad it's currently out of stock. But nvm... I'm sure The*Click*Shop will restock them soon!
Holga specializes in creating mysterious images with dramatic effect. The combination of the otherworldly mystique of the plastic Holga lens and the Black Corner’s unique masking effect – radiates an atmosphere of Hitchkockian suspense. Build on this effect by experimenting with the unlimited long and multi-exposure feature. Like the 35mm Holga it has two shutter and aperture settings and uses standard 35mm film and processing. hey there. i see u bought the aqua pix camera from ebay? im kind of wondering, do u need to buy the permit or wateva thgy? coz last time my bro bought a phone from ebay which is cheap (RM128), but then he had to buy the permit wateva thgy from the malaysian custom to allow the phone to enter malaysia once the phone arrived in the country. and the permit costs RM200!!! so he end up paying rm328 in total for the phone which wud have been much cheaper if he bought in malaysia. so im kinda sceptical to buy the aquapix camera from ebay coz paying 200rm for the permit is so not worth it.
huhu...which is why i wanna ask u. do u need to purchase the permit? hv u got ur camera yet or r u still waiting for it to arrive?
reply me back asap, here: dira_ar@yahoo.com

TQ :)
